An Alabama native, Dr. Martin P. Jones, Jr. received his bachelor of science from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, graduating cum laude, and earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB). Dr. Jones also completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UAB, followed by a fellowship in spine surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
A respected board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jones has given presentations at many field-related seminars. He has special interests in cervical and lumbar disc disease, hardware implant procedures, and surgical revisions. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of Alabama, and the North American Spine Society.
Dr. Jones is married and has four children. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
